The main problem with the Realtek chip is the old, well-known audio/video sync problem that's apparently a conflict between Windows 10 and the Realtek chip. Playback is often crackly and the sound spit, sputters, and stutters noticeably. In particular, the onboard Realtek sound chip just plain stinks.
